feeling sad

been two days that i feel so awfull. a lot of sadness i felt inside. don't really know the reason why, or probably i know, yet i just don't want to admit it. kathy had mentioned to me bout the same feeling about a month ago. i thought it was just easy.dang, if only it's not raining right now, i'm gonna mow my lawn or pull some weeds besides my front porch. too bad i got no patient to visit, no new movies to watch except "PRIME" which really makes me laugh for a while. i liked the story and the ending is more realistic.it's about 2 people in love, uma thurman is a 37 y.o divorcee and her fiancee greenberg is 23 y.o. from a jewish family. nice movie.
anyho, i've watched the movies twice and again i got nothing to do. I wished st. peter would turned off the faucet from above cause the rain is really killing me. I really could not play my guitar, i don't want to touch my bills either and nobodys been calling me on my phone except this 40 y.o. lady from bloomfield. (just kidding she called me at work).if i go nuts i'll probably just shoot myself.he he he

401-k

i was in a good mood yesterday, cleaning my garage and trying to put everything in order. when i went back inside and opened my mail i was so disappointed to see the performance of my 401-k. though i don't depend my retirement on it, i still have to give it a little time managing. the most, i was disappointed with the agent whom i've trusted to manage the allocation of my funds. during the renewal last december i specifically told him how and where to allocate my funds. when i opened the quarterly report, nothing had change at all. i had a petifull 0.58 % return. i was expecting at least 7% return on my funds this quarter. if that agent did as what i told him to do, i could have at least 10.2% return. 20 times better than what it is now.

most of us depend our retirement on 401-k and expect a boatload of cash if we retire. yet if things is mismanaged by this so-called agent, you 401-k is worth nothing when you are ready to take it out. just remember 401-k is index to the market. when the market is good, expect a fat wallet if not, then sorry ka na lang he he he.you could probably just combined it with your ss and expect a three meals in a day.

never trust you retirement on this so called agent. Do they really know a lot and better than us? probably a little better. just a little. not much. all they do is open their laptop in front of you and look at the performance of a certain investment. that's all. you and me can do that.it's not a rocketscience nor physics. it's just a matter of looking at simple numbers. frankly i had a hard time choosing what kind of brief to buy than looking at where to allocate my funds.

5 years ago i was an agent working for world marketing alliance(currently world financial group.bought by aegon, the thirt largest reinsurer, trading its stock at zurich stock exchange) I tried to sell insurance and securities to my friends. I tried to sell securities yet i don't know nothing about the market.(that's probably why i didn't pass my series 6 and series 63 licencure exam he he he).most of us(agents) doesn't know nothing about the market. we are being trained to built a business but not on what kind of securities we should recommend to our client.

i was thinking much about getting a roth ira lately but i guess that's too much for me right now. roth ira i think is much better compared to 401-k. for one thing you add your funds to roth ira after you are being tax and 401-k is before. so if you withdraw your 401-k before you reach 59 and 1/2, you will be tax 27-30% depending on your tax bracket plus 10% penalty.if you have 200 gran in your 401-k, thats about 80-90 gran taken out from you funds. thats too much. currently i have my variable universal life which is taken after tax so i don't to worry bout it too much and besides the performance is excellent, beating uo dow jones and nasdaq in thier quartelr report.i'll stick to it for a while.

keep the faith

we were having an endorsement this morning when one of the nurse asked me if i already went to church. i told her that i haven't been to church yet. she tried to convinced me that alot of people are being punished because they never go to church at all. she tried to tell us about the washing of feet of the apostle during good friday or whatever traditon we been doing during the lenten season. for me this is not the basis of how we will be judge at the end of days. i think our faith is more important. i'm guilty of not going to church every sunday but everytime i went to attend the mass, i listen to every word being spoken and put it in my heart.for me the most important part is the gospel and humily. when i was still in the phil. i've noticed that most of us don't even listen to this. we think that by attending the mass, we already did our part."for me" that is useless. attending the mass without listening or putting it in your heart is like attending a meeting without listening. being there is not good enough.just like praying. i read my bible before i went to bed and pray after that.(my bible is already 20 yrs old.my mom give it to me when i was in grade 6 while attending the charismatic).i don't pray the way i used to pray like repeating our father and hail mary over and over. "to me" it's like reciting a poem in class. i think god knows what we want.a single word will do as long as you really mean it and it comes from the bottom of your heart. but again it's just me.

(i got no time time to edit this entry.i got no more time.got to go to work.)

this videoclip was taken during our valentines party last feb. the question for ramil was"ramil, saan makikita ang mayon volcano?" too condident, he answered "taal" without even thinking.he he he

trades

here i am again looking at my blog after a week of not even opening it. to my surprise ginkigan ako ni tatay mike...hr hr hr.didn't know that we've got the same template.but i'm glad at least somebodys reading it outside the filmichian group...and i'd never been serious with what i wrote. anyho...i've just arrived visiting one of my patient and i'm really sleepy but i can't stand the feeling of not looking at my trades.so as usual my left eye on my left monitor which is my blog and my right eye is on my right monitor which is one of my flatform(just kidding) from scottrade.

dow jones is down 10 points as of this moment and nasdaq is up 2 points and s&p 500 is almost the same. to my surprise csco is rallying and telecom sector are pulling back. probably not all but motorola and ciena. i was long on ciena and probably add more shares on my position after the pull back.time warner is one of my pick in that sector.csco which is computer hardware company has been consolidating for the past few days and it is a good buying oppurtunity before it continue to rally.looking at the chart of csco, the time segmented volume is always above the midline which shows how good the stock is. the price had never been below the 20 moving average since it rallied last february. the bop or the balance of power shows a massive buying from large institutions.(the one whom u depend your retirement..he he he)so winning on that stock is just a piece of cake. i haven't seen any resistance after it broke out from consolidation. there maybe one which somewhere around may of 2004 which you could pretty much disregard.the on balance volumes shw's a good pattern and the adx is strong which is currently around 30. as expected stochastic shows that the stock is overbought. the macd or the moving average divergence convergence doesn't look good as of this moment but who really cares,it's one of the lagging indicator.there is an increase in volume since the beginning of this yr.analysing those few indicators right now, for sure i will add more shares to my position in the next few days.
